About Our Client

My client is a proven and well known market leader in the Asia retail market with decades of history of success. To continue developing the brand legacy and provide innovative products to meet consumer demands, they are now seeking for a seasoned finance individual to support the CFO and CEO take the business to a new level.

Job Description

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO and CEO and senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities and policy issues
  • Contribute to the development of company's strategic goals and objectives from a financial standpoint
  • Take a hands-on approach on the financial planning and analysis activities
  • Perform analytical reviews and provide financial modelling and analysis services to functional leaders
  • Ensure financial reporting and accounting processes are conducted in a timely manner
  • Strengthen current controls, procedure, processes and identify potential risk areas with appropriate action plans
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality of work
  • Develop and instil a strong collaborative working environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance or a related subject
  • At least 20 years of progressive accounting and finance working experience from sizeable and complex organisations
  • Exposure in the retail, FMCG, consumer related industries is a MUST
  • Proven excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial acumen
  • Agile and adept with making decisions in a fast paced environment
  • Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive the financial performance
  • Holds accountability and operate with high integrity
  • Languages in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
