About Our Client

Our client is one of the biggest UK retailer in the industry . They have their APAC office in Hong Kong and would like to expend the FP&A team for their business planning and strategy. They are looking for a high calibre candidate to join their team as the future core stone for the company finance.

Job Description

  • Responsible for commercial reporting and insightful analysis, including KPI analysis, costing, supporting key activities in logistics, supply chain and sourcing, while enhancing supplier management.
  • Support financial strategy, price negotiation strategies, 5-year plan, corporate plan, and margin saving targets.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation decks for management
  • Challenge current processes and continuously seek ways to improve efficiencies in reporting and analysis.
  • Responsible for period end activities and assist in various functions on different requests
  • Provide analytical support to the as required, contributing to data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure data preparation is efficient and streamlined, resulting in accurate information delivered right the first time.
  • Provide reporting, commentary, and analysis that is relevant, insightful and aids business decision making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant University degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience
  • Accounting qualification preferable but not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, are desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Putonghua
