About Our Client

Our client is a well established marketing and events organization with an excellent employer brand in Hong Kong. They now seek an HR expert to lead their HRBP team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead the HRBP division to provide expert HR advice to the leadership team across business units and corporate functions. Whilst our client has a TA team in place, the HRBP division is responsible for overseas, senior level and confidential recruitment, managing assignments with agencies and ensure that the employee experience is pleasant and leave a positive impression. You will partner with the division heads on areas such as annual review exercises, market benchmark, performance management, talent management, staff inquiries and grievances, internal job rotations as well as driving HR initiatives such as employer branding and employee engagement. You will stay close with the key stakeholders to understand their business development plans and challenges, and help them mitigate the risk and further develop their organization structure by offering HR advisory services backed by data analytics and market intelligence. We are looking for a seasoned HR expert who is strong in HR policies and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

Degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 20 years' of solid HR generalist and HR advisory experience with a minimum of 5-8 years in a senior HR role. You will have worked with C-suite and department head levels with a proven track record of driving organization development and business transformation. Candidates from sizable corporations with strict HR compliance and policies such as listed companies, financial services companies, education, government, quasi government...etc. will be highly sought after. You will possess excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, whilst a good level of language ability in written & spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required.
