About Our Client

Our client is a one of the top international schools in Hong Kong with around 2000 students and 500 staffs in their Institution. They are now seeking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team as they are having expansion in their campus in the coming years.

Job Description

  • Handle enquiries and liaise with parents and staff, Respond to parents' inquiries and resolve issues, reconcile billings to the enrolment data, perform bank reconciliation, and handle debenture transactions
  • Responsible for updating fixed asset register, reconciliation of asset records, and regular stock-taking
  • Prepare income and expenses analysis, data analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis
  • Coordinate the annual external audit. Prepare working papers and required schedules for external and internal audits, facilitate the preparation of the annual report for management
  • Assist in revenue management and AR reporting.
  • Assist in daily transactions, including petty cash, cash advance, cash receipt, and payment
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting or Business-related disciplines
  • 5 + years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications (knowledge of SAP will be an advantage)
  • Good command of written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Immediate availability preferred.
