About Our Client

Our client is a MNC Retail Group with over 30 years of experience, they have offices around the APAC, and now seeking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team for future expansion in the APAC region.

Job Description

  • Develop strategic evaluations and recommendations, underpinned by fiscal analysis, for advancing the Company's brand presence in the region and guiding future investments in the APAC territory.
  • Oversee Aging and Accounts Receivable, conducting regular cash flow analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the APAC Management team to establish and uphold a robust financial control framework encompassing Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Income Tax Obligations, and key performance indicators.
  • Foster collaboration with key stakeholders in the US Finance team to ensure a cohesive and globally aligned approach to financial management across the Company's APAC operations.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and analyses for the Company's APAC division, catering to regional management, statutory requirements, and US reporting standards.
  • Generate monthly Profit & Loss reports for Hong Kong and the APAC region, providing essential financial insights.
  • Drive the creation of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans spanning five years.
  • Conduct detailed inventory analyses to optimise resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead the budgeting process, aligning financial strategies with organisational objectives and ensuring financial sustainability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with MBA preferred. Preferably with ACCA qualification
  • Experience in US GAP accounting systems and legal requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years finance and operational experience in either FMCG, luxury goods, footwear, fashion or sports industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Able to expertly work with IT systems such as Oracle and Tableau or BI tools.
