About Our Client

Our client is a Top European e-commerce retailer with a solid sourcing office in Hong Kong, they are now seeking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

Job Description

  • Manage daily accounting operations and collaborate with local and overseas teams for accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide valuable insights to the Group Finance Manager and CFO.
  • Ensure timely delivery of consolidated financial and management reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation, month-end reports, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc analytical reports.
  • Undertake ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned by managers.
  • Collaborate with corporate secretaries on secretarial matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Accounting/Auditing; candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Accountant roles.
  • Proficiency in General Office Computer Applications such as MS Office and Chinese typing.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, fast learner, and keen to excel.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).
  • Experience working in a multinational or sizeable organisation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
