About Our Client

My client is a global European Corporate Investment bank with over 200 staff in Hong Kong. They have offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai for APAC. They are also looking to expand into Australia.

Job Description

  • This role will report directly to the first line of defence risk under COO office
  • The main duties include first line risk and control and quality assurance, KRIs, BCP co-ordination, governance, internal controls, and assist in 3rd party risk management
  • This role will also have exposure to surveillance
  • take part in ad hoc risk projects when necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • bachelor degree
  • 4-7 years of operational risk/internal control experience from bank
  • open to candidates from operations with global markets product knowledge
  • must have global markets product knowledge
  • must be fluent in English
  • must be able to travel to china several times a year
