About Our Client

Our client is a large commercial MNC with global presence. They are looking for a Regional Application Manager to manage vendors on Solution design, deployment, support and maintenance for multiple digital applications including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Mobile and Web Applications across 10+ markets.

Job Description

  • Maintain close communication with internal departments and vendors, provide application/ solutions that align with the overall business strategy and needs
  • Drive technical discussions with vendors in IT team
  • Work with the vendors on the overall solution design and diagrams
  • As the Product Owner for the digital applications including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Web and Mobile Apps. Be accountable for their ongoing enhancement, deployment, maintenance and support across APAC
  • Perform code review for vendors and manage offshore teams on QA
  • Drive discussions on APAC stakeholders on technical feasibility with expectation management
  • Be upbeat of the latest APAC digital trends to propose potential improvement areas

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
  • 8+ years experience in Information Technology with focus on Applications
  • Solid understanding of process design, methodology and tools (Shopify, SFCC, API)
  • Experience in integration with retail applications (CRM, POS etc.) will be a huge plus
  • Strong in user communication and expectation management
  • Strong in vendor management
  • Technical background in Digital Applications with capability in reviewing code is a huge plus
  • Understanding of Cloud deployments, Docker Images, CI/CD, etc.
  • Regional project experience is a huge plus
  • Good command in Cantonese and English
