Job Description

  • Formulate and execute strategic plans for the APAC region to meet business objectives
  • Create effective GTM strategies that align with both global strategy and local contexts.
  • Implement digital marketing initiatives with the digital transformation framework in the APAC region.
  • Enhance brand value and equity through the deployment of strategic programs, professional campaigns, and CRM practices.
  • Monitor healthcare trends across the region diligently, reporting on the impact of changes and their implications for the organization and its technologies
  • Drive key performance indicators within designated portfolios to ensure consistent value delivery, tracking and analyzing return on investment
  • Identify product gaps and the needs of customers in Asia Pacific, making recommendations to headquarters for the development of products tailored to this market
  • Enhance product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and seizing market opportunities
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders by effectively articulating the clinical differentiation of brands.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by understanding customer requirements, defining markets, assessing competitor shares and local footprints, forecasting business outcomes, and establishing targeted market share.
  • Implement and customize marketing promotional tools at the local level in Asia Pacific.
  • Provide valuable insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Assess the impact of marketing initiatives through CRM tools and adjust local strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with headquarters, local affiliates, and Business Development & Licensing teams on upstream marketing activities to prepare for new brand launches and product introductions.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should come up with at least 10 years of sales or marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry with 5 years' experience in product marketing.

Solid work experience with cross-functional teams at global & regional level.

Possess knowledge of Asia Pacific Healthcare systems and understand the regulatory requirement of pharmaceutical and medical device industry in Asia Pacific.

Strong Interpersonal, analytical, diplomatic and negotiation skills in multicultural environment.

Strong communication skill, able to communicate confidently with different stakeholders from diverse culture background.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluent spoken Mandarin is a must.
