Our client is a major financial regulator in Hong Kong. The HRIS team is currently looking for an Associate grade Project Management Officer (PMO) as an HRIS Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in managing the strong pipeline of projects within the team (new implementations, enhancements or configurations). Prior Workday experience is essential. Candidates with only end-use experience will be considered as well.

About Our Client

Candidate who were in a more operational role but had exposure to project management/lead responsibilities in the past will be considered as training will be provided. Prior Workday experience is essential. Candidates with only end-use experience will be considered as well.

Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese is mandatory.

Job Description

  • Support and collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee a robust project pipeline, including new implementations, enhancements, and configurations within the HRIS (Workday) domain
  • Assist in project planning, project governance, risk management, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes related to HRIS initiatives
  • Contribute to the successful execution of projects by coordinating resources, tracking tasks, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of Workday solutions and contribute to the enhancement of HRIS capabilities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, HR or any relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years of working experience, with prior experience in project management/PMO
  • Exposure to Workday either as an internal end user or through projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
  • Detail-oriented approach, positive and with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and decision-making
  • Prior experience in financial institutions are not required
