A leading Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firm in the oil and gas sector, specializing in complex onshore projects that include Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and feasibility studies.

Job Description

  • Lead all phases of project management, from FEED through detailed design, feasibility, and execution for major onshore oil and gas projects.
  • Develop and communicate project goals, timelines, and deliverable to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Ensure project activities are executed in compliance with company and client standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, sub contractors, and regulatory authorities, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Work closely with clients to clarify project requirements, manage expectations, and provide updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are utilised efficiently.
  • Oversee project quality assurance and ensure adherence to technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely delivery of all project phases.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to integrate deliverables into the construction schedule seamlessly.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 25+ years of experience in project management within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on onshore projects.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects through FEED, detailed design, and feasibility phases.
  • Extensive background in PMC environments, working closely with clients and stakeholders on complex, multi-billion-dollar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.
