Job Description

  • Engage in all phases of solution design and execution for SAP FICO and MM modules, alongside integration with other finance systems
  • Serve as an internal SAP functional consultant, delivering expert advice and system support to financial users within the organization.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and document business requirements effectively.
  • Strategize, coordinate, and implement enhancements to the SAP system in alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops to elicit requirements focused on financial accounting and controlling processes.
  • Oversee system testing initiatives, assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure seamless deployment of solutions.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, addressing and resolving production-related issues as they arise.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and support
  • Advanced education or professional certifications may also be considered; the starting role will align with qualifications and experience.
  • Familiarity with FI integration points with other SAP modules, including SD, MM, and Real Estate, is preferred. Knowledge of FICO-related user exits, enhancements, and relevant tables is beneficial.
  • Strong capability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure SAP FICO accordingly.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles, encompassing financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and within Agile technical teams is crucial.
