About Our Client

Our Client is a steadily growing SOE background of Asset Manager in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of automotive companies, including manufacturers, suppliers, and technology firms.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics.
  • Develop financial models to forecast revenue, earnings, and cash flow for covered companies.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations summarizing findings and investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and other analysts to support investment strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to gather insights and build a network of industry contacts.
  • Track and communicate key developments in the automotive sector, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and consumer trends.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related field, preferably with a focus on the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of automotive technologies, electric vehicles, and sustainability trends.
  • Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
