About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Hong Kong fashion group with few of the market leading brands under its business. With new expansion for the business, they are now seeking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team.

Job Description

  • Handle full set month-end closing and monthly reporting
  • Prepare monthly adjustment journals and schedules
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow forecast
  • Review daily transactions and prepare monthly account reconciliation
  • Prepare various statutory reports and tax computation
  • Liaise with auditor and follow up audit issues
  • Assist management on ad-hoc reports and analysis
  • Assist setup and deploy financial controls to meet the internal controls, risk management and corporate governance requirements of the Group
  • Assist in system enhancement and work-flow enhancement
  • Review monthly turnover report to landlords prepared by subordinates
  • Provide on the job coaching to team members facilitating them to meet and exceed the requirements of their job
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for additional training for the team
  • Monitor and review performance of team

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
  • HKICPA or equivalent qualification is required
  • 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Experience in using Oracle is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Strong team player, proactive, independent and detail minded
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate well with other divisions and departments
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is a definite advantage
