The successful applicant will demonstrate a wide range of technical skills and the ability to work effectively with regional IT teams through effective communication and collaboration. Oversee and maintain the user workplace environment, utilizing MS Windows technologies and services.Work closely with local IT teams in each country to ensure user workplace environments are correctly configured and maintained including providing training.Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support by responding to requests and incidents then diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently or escalating matters to other specialist teams where necessary.Monitoring regional system performance, identifying and addressing issues, and implementing necessary upgrades and patches to ensure that all IT infrastructure components are appropriately configured and maintained to support user workplaces.Communicate and coordinate efforts with regional IT teams to ensure seamless integration of user workplace environments with other IT infrastructure components.Create and implement policies and procedures for user workplace management, including user access and security policies applicable throughout the region. Ensure users have appropriate access to necessary resources while safeguarding data from unauthorized access.Gather requirements and develop an in-depth understanding of user requirements across the region whilst identifying opportunities for enhancements.Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends that could benefit the user experience.Oversee and implement regional workplace environment IT infrastructure projects. As the primary contact for these projects, you will collaborate with local IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.Engage 3rd party vendors and service providers to adopt optimal solutions to achieve project objectives and overall system performance enhancement.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.The Successful ApplicantTertiary education in an Information Technology related discipline.Professional IT certifications in ITIL, PMP, CCNA, or CCNP, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMWare, are advantageous.At least 5 years' experience supporting regional IT infrastructure operations and projects.Solid experience in managing and administering SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 enterprise applications, and Microsoft Exchange.Solid experience with Workplace One, Windows Servers, Windows 10, Skype for Business, MS Teams, and PowerShell scripting.Strong troubleshooting and customer facing skills to provide tier 2 and tier 3 support effectively.Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible, with the ability to take initiative in learning and applying technical skills.Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing responsibilities, adaptable to change, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin Chinese (both verbal and written communication).What's on OfferOpportunity for exposure to regional scale IT systems with a well-known skin care company.ContactSteve LaiQuote job refJN-102024-6562909Phone number+85236022480Job summaryFunctionITSpecialisationInfrastructureIndustryRetailLocationHong KongJob Type:TemporaryConsultant nameSteve LaiConsultant phone+85236022480Job ReferenceJN-102024-6562909
