Job Description

  • Manage daily cloud operations to ensure effective maintenance, incident handling, and recovery across various technologies.
  • Train and lead the team in adopting new technologies while reducing reliance on external providers.
  • Develop and implement System Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes for cloud functions.
  • Collaborate with country CTOs and IT departments to align technology practices and service delivery.
  • Plan for capacity and performance while addressing system requirements for cloud platforms.
  • Create automation tools for system health monitoring and to validate production changes.
  • Develop a roadmap for cloud capabilities to stand out from other providers.
  • Work with technology teams to ensure system availability in the cloud environment.
  • Influence technology decisions to support a cloud-first strategy.
  • Guide teams on resolving cloud issues and ensure compliance with IT Risk & Security policies.
  • Allocate resources to support cloud activities across regions.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and system integrators to enhance technology investments.

The Successful Applicant

  • University graduate in Computer Science, or an Information Technology related field.
  • Holder of relevant certifications.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in IT operations management and cloud environments.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing SOPs for cloud operations.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies Azure and AWS including IaaS, PaaS, data analysis, and cloud applications.
  • Has extensive experience in running cloud operations in regional environments.
  • Holds certifications in ITIL foundation, ISO 27001, and familiar with ITSM processes.
  • Knowledgeable in container technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps.
