Our client is a leading insurance company with a strong presence in Hong Kong who provide a comprehensive range of tailored to meet the needs across multiple sectors including personal, property, and specialty insurance.

Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain the organizational network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network issues in a timely manner, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving connectivity issues, and answering inquiries related to network access and services.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of network solutions to meet the company's business needs.
  • Conduct regular network performance assessments and analyse network traffic to identify bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, upgrades, and patches while minimizing service disruptions.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and technical support activities to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends, advising management on potential improvements and upgrades.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA are advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in network support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Experienced with VMWare, server, DC migration, and backup/restoration solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes related to change management and incident management.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
