About Our Client

My client is a large chinese based financial services group. This is the overseas business with a main focus on investment funds. They have businesses in fintech, bank, securities, insurance, and asset management. The HK office has several hundred staff.

Job Description

  • This role will report directly to the Head of Risk whilst working alongside several risk colleagues
  • Main responsibilities include investment risk reporting, investment risk monitoring, and investment risk analysis
  • take part in ad hoc risk projects when necessary
  • assist in bloomberg, python (coding), SQL related duties when necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Finance/Mathematics/Risk Management/Statistics
  • minimum 3+ years of market risk experience from financial institution
  • VP level will require 5-7+ years of experience
  • Experiences from Asset Management/Investment Bank are preferred
  • Must have experiences with Bloomberg PORT, Python, SQL
  • Must be fluent in reading and writing Chinese
