Job Description

Responsibilities

Reporting to the APAC Head of Product Control, you will be responsible for

  • Leading a team of 3
  • Daily P&L production, reconciliation, reporting and analysis
  • Reconcile and resolve P&L variances with front office trading desks
  • Reconcile P&L reported to general ledger and investigate any variances
  • Month-end balance sheet substantiation
  • Conduct periodic independent price verification and valuation
  • Participate in new business/product approval process
  • Work closely with Financial Control on ledger booking, accounting fair value adjustment, and financial statements disclosure

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Degree holder in accounting/ finance with at least 10 years of experience in Product Control
  • Qualified CPA holder is highly preferred
  • 10 years of product control is a must
  • Vanilla Rates knowledge is a must
  • Self-starter with strong control mind set
  • Strong communicator and able to work with various senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills
  • Good judgment in assessing control risk and issues requiring escalation
