Our client is a well-known bank. They wish to hire a talented VP - FP&A (IT) to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for

  • acting as a business partner in finance to BU in supporting their strategic decision making and financial management
  • managing BU's annual budget and monthly forecast process by working with the management team closely to gather input
  • aligning with senior management on assumptions and business drivers to provide reliable and accurate projections
  • ensuring the BU's budget and forecast are aligned with the group's process and timeline
  • conducting variance analysis monthly against forecast and budget
  • assessing financial performance to underlying business drivers
  • communicating the financial implications and variances to senior management, HR and other stakeholders to facilitate decision making
  • understanding the BU's project spending - profiles and pipelines
  • assisting divisional management in projects prioritisation based on strategic and financial impact
  • escalating P&L and projects' spending variances to the Project Control and Group FP&A team
  • other adhoc tasks



The Successful Applicant

Work Experience

  • Degree Holder in Business/Accounting/Finance/Computer Science
  • CPA is a must
  • FP&A knowledge in IT is a must
  • Banking or Insurance experience is a must
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Mandarin)
