Job Description

Responsibilities:



  • Develop Audit Strategy: Establish the internal audit strategy and annual audit plan, ensuring they align with the company's objectives.


  • Execute Audits: Conduct audits in accordance with regulatory standards and lead investigations when necessary.


  • Prepare Reports: Generate audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.


  • Monitor Recommendations: Track, validate, and report on the implementation status of audit recommendations.


  • Engage Stakeholders: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for audit activities, building strong relationships.


  • Compliance Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for the Internal Audit function, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines within the company.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.


  • Relevant Experience: 15 years of audit experience in the insurance, financial, or similar industries.


  • Internal Audit Management: Experience overseeing the internal audit function in a life insurance company is advantageous.


  • Professional Credentials: Preferred certifications include CIA or CPA.


  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of life insurance regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Professional Qualities: Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong business acumen and proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.


  • Language Skills: Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
