About Our Client

Our client is a leading investment firm specializing in research and investment strategies across various sectors. With a strong footprint in Greater Bay Area, they are currently seeking a Healthcare Research Analyst to join the steadily growing investment team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis of healthcare companies, including biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company earnings, cash flows, and valuation metrics.
  • Report Writing: Prepare detailed research reports, including investment theses, company profiles, and sector analyses.
  • Market Monitoring: Track industry news, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting the healthcare sector.
  • Client Interaction: Present findings and investment recommendations to internal teams and institutional clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers and other analysts to support investment strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Around 5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related financial services, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory landscape, and key players.
  • Skills:Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and research databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
