About Our Client

Our client is a renowned Apparel Brand in the industry known for quality and innovation. They are now looking for a skilled and driven Merchandiser with Costing focus to join the expanding team.

Job Description

  • Work closely with design, production, and sourcing teams to develop cost-effective merchandising strategies.
  • Analyse and negotiate costs to ensure optimal pricing and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, materials and quality teams to secure competitive pricing and quality materials through Cost Analysis.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to delivery while maintaining cost targets.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on costing metrics to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of Apparel Sourcing experience, focusing on US market
  • Proven experience in merchandising with a strong focus on costing within the apparel industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and cost analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and cost drivers in the fashion industry.
