About Our Client

Our client is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) company dedicated to optimizing operations and delivering exceptional services to their clients. They are seeking a talented and experienced Operations Director to drive operational excellence and performance management within the organization.

Job Description

  • Manage, enhance, and standardize operations processes for all lines of business to meet market demands effectively.
  • Ensure strict compliance with process standards to maintain consistent service quality.
  • Continuously improve processes to meet business efficiency requirements through reviews and automation.
  • Implement operational KPIs to ensure high service delivery levels and define SLAs with key account owners.
  • Establish systems for setting standards and performance measurements to cultivate a performance-driven culture.
  • Develop quality data sources, conduct statistical quality control, and address non-compliance cases promptly.
  • Manage vendor relationships, conduct quality audits, and negotiate better rates to enhance purchasing power.
  • Develop internal operational capabilities and coordinate Continuous Improvement activities for broader business benefits.
  • Lead teams to drive transformational change, manage resources effectively, and inspire goal achievement.
  • Measure resource utilization with regional leadership to ensure productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Foster a unit metrics mindset to consistently measure outputs for cost improvement.
  • Review and interpret operational data to identify issues and optimize service levels and process flows.
  • Support logistics and solutions engineering for commercial pursuits and new business development activities.
  • Lead and develop team members to drive change, manage performance, and identify training needs effectively.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management within the logistics or 3PL industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive transformational change and inspire teams to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing operational KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of vendor management, quality control, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Occasional travel is required
