Job Description

  • Identifying and qualifying new suppliers of electronic components, negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms
  • Developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity and manage risks
  • Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to understand technical requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Analyzing market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost structures to make data-driven procurement decisions
  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including demand planning, purchase order administration, and inventory control
  • Monitoring supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in a procurement role, with a strong focus on electronics components
  • Proven track record of successful supplier selection, price negotiations, and contract execution
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs, and logistics
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively manage stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
