About Our Client

Our client is a Leading Global Buying Office specalising in Apparel and Lifestyle products. They are now looking for an Assistant Trims Manager focusing on Trims Sourcing in South Asia to join its winning team.

Job Description

  • Develop global trim sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to develop and source trims for apparel collections.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of trim development, from concept to delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide cost-saving initiative and monitor progress
  • Assist in inventory management and forecasting to meet production requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in trims to enhance product offerings.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience in trims merchandising or related roles within the apparel industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and quality.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
