Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our staff, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems and applications. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.

Job Description

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the integrity of data through regular backups.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including user manuals and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and system upgrades.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Train staff on software applications and IT tools.
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner and prioritize issues based on business impact.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Windows, and Mac OS environments.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering quality support.
