Our client is a multinational logistics organisation with strong worldwide presence and diverse business units. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to support their freight forwarding business growth.

Job Description

  • Identify potential business lead from business networking, client connections.
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with customers to optimise the business performance.
  • Be responsible for overall and assigned sales, contribution and renewal KPIs.
  • Act as the contact point for business enquires from potential customers.
  • Prepare business quotation in responding to requests for quotation (RFQs) or other business enquires.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree education or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in logistics/ freight/ supply chain/ warehousing sectors.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operational logistics work flows
  • Proficiency in completing requests for quotation (RFQs)
  • Independent and self-motivated, business hunter mentality
  • Strong team spirit
