Job Description

  • Lead and manage the design team in the development of hardline products, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market trends.
  • Utilize 3D design software to create detailed product designs and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, procurement, and production, to ensure designs meet customer needs and feasibility requirements.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions and identify new opportunities for product development.
  • Oversee the design review process, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members to enhance design quality and innovation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations, as well as sustainability practices.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on hardline products preferred.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software and strong technical drawing skills.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in hardline products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative and functional product designs.
