About Our Client

Our client is one of the largest electronics manufacturers with extremely strong performance globally. To support the rapid growth of the business, they have created an additional headcount to manage new projects to support new product development.

Job Description

You will be accountable for a portfolio of strategic clients and oversee supply chain processes including but not limited to material sourcing, vendor negotiation, performance evaluation and supplier relationship management. This position will play a pivotal role in driving new product innovation with customers with the objective to achieve business targets.

You will oversee the assessment of supply risk, give guidance on component sourcing, and ensure a strong supply chain strategy is in place.

You will work cross-functionally with sales and other operational teams to drive efficiency in inventory management, cost management, and ensure material quality is up to standards.

You will establish plans to mitigate risks and product failures, and ensure supply chain strategies are constantly enhanced to adapt to the ever-changing business environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive global supply chain management experience pertains to the EMS industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in electronic commodity sourcing, NPI/NPD, suppliers management and supply chain management
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and react to problems with agility and flexibility
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work as a team, drive process and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
