About Our Client

Our client, a major financial institution and key financial regulator in Hong Kong, is seeking a proficient individual to join their HRIS team in a critical role as a Senior Associate or AVP level Workday Specialist. The ideal candidate will focus on providing technical projects and BAU related to Workday.

Job Description

  • Provide technical support for Workday, ensuring its smooth operation and optimization
  • Support various Workday projects including payroll integration, integration of new modules, enhancements, and configurations to enhance system efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize disruption to HR operations
  • Review and provide configuration changes for business processes, organization, and security areas
  • Support mandatory annual events like Performance and Compensation Review processes
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements, identifying areas for process improvement and automation
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to build and configure HR technology solutions, conduct system testing, and ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Provide first-line support for data and process issues, Workday user guide, training, and manage the HR ticketing system
  • Administer security assignments, conduct BAU configuration changes, fulfill user ad hoc report requests, and review data audits



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in configuring and customizing Workday solutions to meet business needs
  • Proficiency in enhancing, implementing, and configuring Workday
  • Previous experience in Workday HRIS projects in a supporting role is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
  • Preferred experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the financial industry
  • Workday certifications are a plus
  • Title/banding is based on years of experience, candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Associate level
