About Our Client

My Client is an international law firm with business around the world, including Hong Kong, UK, US, etc. To support the business growth, they are looking for an experienced HRBP for multiple offices in Asia. This Manager will be leading a small team of direct report to ensure smooth operation of the recruitment and development program.

Job Description



  • Manage delivery of core HR programs of work and cyclical activity across the region, including talent reviews, year-in-review process, promotions, remuneration review and employee listening initiatives
  • Develop trusted relationships across a diverse client group including Partners and Head of Business Services
  • Provide strategic consulting, advice and governance on people practices with a focus on talent, capability, leadership and structure
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of talent throughout the APAC markets
  • Ensure smooth process of the application and renewal of work visas, practicing certificates and certificate of registrations
  • Oversee the annual summer internship programme and trainee programme
  • Work with Learning & Organisational Development team to ensure programs implemented are in line with firm needs
  • Review and check monthly payroll (prepared by external payroll service provider and P&C Advisor)
  • Continuously improve P&C service delivery; proactively seek out and action stakeholder feedback
  • Contribute to the development of P&C programs and initiatives, bringing a local office/regional perspective to inform planning and execution

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 8 years of human resources experience as generalist or HRBP from top tier law firms, ideally from magic circle firms
  • Bachelor degree or related discipline
  • Native English, fluent Mandarin or Cantonese
  • High attentions to details, well-organized, capable in manging multiple service requests with tight deadline
  • Responsible, flexible, supportive, positive attitude, good team player
