About Our Client

Our client is a key financial regulator in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a dedicated IT Security Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the deployment, management, and upkeep of various IT security systems, including but not limited to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Continuous Vulnerability Management (CVM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

Job Description

  • Contribute to the execution and maintenance of IT security infrastructures to ensure robust protection against security threats.
  • Protect our information systems by identifying, preventing, and resolving security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate IT security solutions in our cybersecurity lab through proof-of-concept trials.
  • Assist in the creation and ongoing development of IT security policies, standards, and guidelines in compliance with regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in information security roles.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following systems: SIEM, EDR, DLP, CVM, or PAM.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response strategies, attack methodologies, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Possession of certifications such as CISP, CISSP, or CISA is preferred.
  • A proactive individual with excellent teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
