As the Senior HR Manager, you will lead a team of four and report directly to the Group HR Director. The role will be fully responsible for the HR-related work of the overseas business, primarily in the APAC region, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and playing a key role in M&A activities.

The employer is a publicly listed Chinese company, specializing in testing and certification services. The group has been deeply focused on the Southeast region and has continuously expanded through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions. Currently, the overseas business employs approximately 400 people.

Job Description

1.Develop and implement human resource strategies that support business growth across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with group HR frameworks and the specific needs of the regional market.
2.Design and implement talent acquisition strategies that attract and retain talent in the region.
3.Drive talent management programs, including succession planning, talent development, and leadership programs, ensuring the development of future leaders.
4.Act as the HR lead for APAC M&A activities, participating in due diligence processes to assess the impact of potential acquisitions on human capital and organizational structure.
5.Provide recommendations on HR-related risks and opportunities during M&A due diligence, including compliance, labor laws, and employee relations.
6.Oversee the HR aspects of post-merger integration, ensuring the smooth on-boarding of acquired teams, harmonization of HR policies, and cultural integration.
7.Collaborate with group HR and compensation teams to design competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring alignment with local market trends and regulations.
8.Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across the APAC region, working closely with legal counsel and external advisors when necessary.
9.Promote and implement initiatives that drive organizational culture, fostering a high level of employee engagement and a strong connection to the company's values.
10.Develop and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities to support business growth.

The Successful Applicant

1.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) is preferred.
2.Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a regional APAC role.
3.Experience with mergers and acquisitions projects is a plus.
4.Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices across the APAC region.
5.Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
6.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across multiple cultures.
7.Fluency in English and Mandarin are required. Familiar with Chinese companies or Chinese culture is a plus, as it's a China MNC.
