The HR Senior Coordinator will manage daily HR operations, supporting the full employee lifecycle, including on/offboarding, payroll, tax filings, employee engagement, and benefits. This role also ensures Law Society compliance and serves as the first point of contact internally.

Job Description

  • HR Operations Support: Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, training, payment calculations, and exit interviews.
  • Visa and Immigration Support: Coordinate visa applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with local laws.
  • HR Database Management: Maintain the HR database and generate regular reports, e.g. headcount, office movements.
  • Payroll Coordination: Assist in monthly payroll for HK and another smaller APAC office, including claims and tax compliance.
  • Employee Benefits: Manage benefits enrollment, status changes, and renewals.
  • Compliance Management: Handle Law Society compliance, registrations, renewals.
  • Performance Reviews: Support the annual performance review process and salary surveys.
  • HR Initiatives: Contribute to diversity and wellbeing projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within legal industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or relevant
  • Knowledge in Hong Kong Law Society compliance.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
