As the Group's Senior Tax Director, you will oversee all tax-related activities across domestic and international operations, covering a diverse and skilled team of approximately 15 professionals.

Job Description

1. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the group's global tax structure while ensuring compliance with domestic (China) and international tax laws.
2. Provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, including incentives, tax treaties, and efficient structuring.
3. Oversee transfer pricing arrangements, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
4. Conduct profit monitoring, risk management, and documentation for transfer pricing policies.
5. Manage tax compliance and planning for both domestic (China) and international operations.
6. Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the group's business, proposing appropriate solutions.
7. Provide tax advisory support for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
8. Handle tax matters related to establishing new entities both in China and overseas, including tax registrations and structuring.
9. Ensure tax compliance for all entities, minimizing tax risks across jurisdictions.
10. Work closely with internal finance, legal, and business teams, as well as external advisors, to address tax-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline; CPA, CTA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of tax experience within a multinational corporation or Big 4 Tax team.
3. Strong knowledge of Hong Kong, Mainland China, and international tax laws, including BEPS, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax planning.
4. Proven experience in handling tax issues for listed companies, including M&A and corporate restructuring.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
7. Knowing how to interact with Chinese people and work within Chinese companies would be a plus.
