This role will report to the Head of Credit whilst focusing on credit approval duties across SMEs, Corporate, and retail banking business. More senior level candidates can be considered for a team leader position.

My client is a well known global commercial bank. They have offices worldwide and HK is their main hub globally. They have over 600 staff in their Hong Kong office.

Job Description

  • Report directly to the Head of Credit whilst working alongside several credit approval staff
  • Lead the credit approval team
  • review, analyse, and approve credit proposals from Hong Kong and Mainland China
  • handle business units enquiries for credit risk
  • credit application recommendations

The Successful Applicant

  • bachelor degree in finance/risk management and/or related disciplines
  • minimum 10-12+ years of credit approval experience for retail, SME, and corporate customers
  • leadership experience
  • more junior level candidate can be considered for non leadership position
  • Must be fluent in Chinese
